The instruction takes place at Ducks Diving Center Safaga according to the guidelines of PADI & SSI.
CMAS is also available on request!

According to the guidelines of the diving organizations, teaching material CANNOT be rented any more. The students must purchase textbooks or show them as purchased property.
Bubblemaker
Approx. 2 hours. A private trial session for children above eight years in the pool or shallow water at our house reef. We want to give them the feeling of diving (see 'Dive Kids').
Trial dives
This is the first step into the underwater world. It takes about 2 hours and includes a short theory briefing and a first dive at the house reef with private divemaster assistance.

Junior Open Water Diver
(from 10 years)
Basic instruction in theory and practice for beginners to get the 'diving maturity'. Includes video instruction, practical exercises and theory lessons. 4 days duration with a total of 8 dives. All materials, taxes, insurance and certificate included. The certificate is convertible to Open Water Diver at the age of 15.

Open Water Diver
(from 15 years)
Basic instruction in theory and practice for beginners to get the 'diving maturity'. Includes video instruction, practical exercises and theory lessons. 4 days duration with a total of 8 dives. All materials, taxes, insurance and certificate included.
After completion you will be free to dive anywhere in the world along with your buddy up to a maximum depth of 18 meters.

Open Water Referal
Start your OWD now worldwide and finish with us within one year. This is possible after each theory or water unit. But it makes sense to finish a complete module (theory, shallow water). The duration and costs depend on the finished course sessions.
Advanced Open Water Diver
The Advanced Open Water Diver is a two-day course with 5 dives which provides certified Open Water Divers with well organized, structured and supervised experiences to new diving situations. You will complete five ocean dives in various underwater activities to increase your experience and capabilities.
Includes course book, certificate and diving days.
Price: 250,- EUR
EFR - First aid
Emergency First Response is training focusing on building confidence in dive rescues and increasing the willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency. Course participants learn to follow steps for emergency care and practice applying skills in a non-stressful learning environment.
There will be no dives!

Rescue Diver
The 2-3 day Rescue Diver course is a very important step in expanding your knowledge and experience. As with all courses, it is ‘performance’ based and involves classroom, confined water and shore/boat skill development sessions, followed by open water training. You will learn self-rescue and diver stress, diving first aid, emergency management, equipment considerations, tired diver.
Includes course book, certificate and diving days.

Divemaster
The Divemaster course is your first level of professional training. You’ll fine-tune your dive skills and refine your rescue skills so you anticipate and easily solve common problems. You’ll gain dive knowledge, management and supervision abilities so you become a role model to divers everywhere.
Rescue Divers who are at least 18 years old may enroll in the Divemaster course. Includes certificate and materials. You should bring your diving gear.

Nitrox Course
Nitrox Diver Course is an entry-level course for divers wishing to continue their diver education and utilize enriched air nitrox as a breathing gas to extend no-decompression limits at depth.
The advantages and possibilities of diving with Nitrox are much more significant, as there is a much lower absorption of nitrogen if you adhere to existing diving profiles. The safety benefit is tremendous!

Dive Specialities
There are different possibilities to train yourself further in the field of diving at our base. For example, we offer specialized training in wreck & night diving, underwater photography, drift diving and deep diving. All courses are available on request. The certificates and materials are included. The price consists of the number of required dives and depends on the course.
aqua med offers specialized medical services in the sector of diving and travel medicine. They provide an all-round carefree package for divers and travellers from the medical emergency hotline to professional emergency management and integrated insurance services. The aqua med dive card suits from scuba and leisure divers to professional divers.
